V Recordings is serving up a seismic rumble in the form of Alibi's new 4 track project the 'Forged EP'. The beginning of a new chapter in the Alibi story, this sonic missile marks an electrifying milestone in the label's 30-year legacy of shaping the drum and bass soundscape, and follows Alibi's recent co-labs with DJ Marky and Charli Brix on Shogun Audio, and Urbandawn on Hospital Records.
The 'Forged EP' is a riotous romp through the dark underbelly of DnB, as Alibi channels the urban grit of chrome-laden streets, the reckless defiance of gangsta swagger, and the raw intensity of gothic aesthetics into a roller-coaster ride of deep, rolling techy rhythms. It's a dancefloor-ready concoction that throbs with the pulse of the underground, embodying Alibi's relentless commitment to pushing the boundaries of the genre.
With every beat, the EP echoes with the themes of 'empowerment' and 'corruption', like a clenched silver fist raised against the system. It's not just a collection of tracks, but a politically-charged statement that resonates even louder in these challenging times.
Featuring stellar collabs with DnB stalwarts En:vy, Wingz, and L-Side, Alibi demonstrates his knack for crafting synergies that amplify the potent energy of his sound. This EP is a testament to his evolution as an artist and a celebration of his decade-long journey with V Recordings.
Alibi's 'Forged EP' isn't just an EP - it's a drum and bass manifesto, a shout from the rooftops, a bass-laden battle cry. Tune in, turn it up, and let Alibi's sonic rebellion reverberate through your speakers. The revolution will be amplified.

Another class piece from Break. The original was good when it hit. The Bad Company remix was next level and this one to me is a close race for best remix of this classic. This one to me has the most gnarly drop of all. Like his formula is to sneak up on you with the drop and he accomplishes that mission over and over and over again. I've been collecting Break & Silent Witness tracks when I started buying records over 20 years ago.
